Our Basic Pistol Course is a great class for those who are interested in purchasing a firearm, beginners or novice/experienced shooters and current gun owners that want to enhance their shooting skills/accuracy.
Certificate of Completion for Basic Pistol and Arizona CCW Certificates will be issued.
We cover Firearm Safety & Gun Handling, the various types of Firearms, Loading, Unloading, Cleaning and proper Maintenance, Storage, Range Safety Rules and Basic Firearm Gun Regulations/Laws for California.
Class covers all aspects of CCW skills in a dynamic outdoor range class. Different drills each month to help you learn perfect and maintain the skills you need to prevail in a life threatening situation.
You will need:
- Firearm 150 rounds (minimum)
- Strong side holster and sturdy belt
- Mag pouches
- 3 Magazines
For Non-South Bay Rod & Gun members, Range fee is $25
Class is held at 1020 Marron Valley Road Dulzura, CA 91917 (Range # 1 )
You will learn techniques to significantly improve all aspects of your shooting and accuracy along with understanding the fundamentals of using your holster... placement, drawing and re-holstering. You will learn how to train effectively using the correct targets and distances in a cost effective efficient manner. You will need: firearms, strong side or appendix holster, sturdy belt, spare magazines and 6 Snap Caps.
